This is a complex problem.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is one thing to feed a hungry person a time or two.<\/li>\n<li>It is quite another thing to solve the problem of poverty.<\/li>\n<li>It will never be completely solved, but this does not mean we are to do nothing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. Here are some things that could be done.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Feed and help all we can.<\/li>\n<li>Use influence to help find and create jobs.<\/li>\n<li>Try to educate and provide training for needy.<\/li>\n<li>Demand laws that prevent discrimination on the basis of gender, race, physical fitness.<\/li>\n<li>Help gather food and clothing<\/li>\n<li>Help with babysitting<\/li>\n<li>Elect people who are sensitive to the needs of the poor.<\/li>\n<li>Realize it cost less to educate people than it does to imprison them.<\/li>\n<li>Try to be less wasteful<\/li>\n<li>Try to overcome a holy thou feeling toward the poor.<\/li>\n<li>Use skills to reduce living expense of poor.\n<ul>\n<li>A simple repair bill can create great hardship on the poor.<\/li>\n<li>What is you are working for minimum wage and a repair bill comes up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Counseling on how to restructure debt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How Can We Help The Needy 1.
